The Story Behind Expose This House
How It Started

It didn’t start with a luxury listing.
Honestly… it started with this.
A gated, aging public pool—quiet, overgrown, and easy to overlook. The kind of place most people drive past without thinking twice.
But during the pandemic, when everything slowed down, we found ourselves noticing things differently.
We weren’t rushing anymore.
We were just… watching.
Seeing Something Different
At first, it was just demolition.
Concrete breaking. Structures coming down. Space being cleared.
Nothing special—at least not on the surface.
But then we got a look at the plans.
And everything changed.
What we were looking at wasn’t just an old pool being torn down—it was the beginning of something intentional.
That’s when it really clicked for us:
Every property has two versions—what it is now, and what it could become.
The Transformation

Fast forward… and this is what stood in its place.
Clean lines. Natural light. Thoughtful design.
A complete shift.
It’s hard to even connect the two without seeing them side by side.
And the wild part?
We got to watch the entire process unfold—from start to finish.
The Moment It All Changed
Somewhere along the way, we realized we didn’t just want to watch projects like this happen.
We wanted to be part of how they’re seen.
Because most people only experience the final product.
They don’t see the vision before it exists. They don’t see the transition. They don’t see the story.
But we did.
And that changed how we looked at everything.
Why We Started Expose This House
That’s really where this all began.
Not from a business plan—but from a shift in perspective.
We started asking:
How do you capture more than just a space? How do you show what something feels like? How do you help someone see what’s possible and that it is possible?
That’s what Expose This House became.
Not just photography—but storytelling.
It’s Never Just a Photo
Anyone can take a picture of a house.
But not everyone captures:
The intention behind it
The feeling of being there
The potential someone else needs to see
That’s what we focus on.
Because sometimes, the difference between something being overlooked… and something standing out… is just perspective.
Five Years Later…
Then something happened we didn’t expect.
Five years after all of this… We got a visit from the homeowners.
A Different Kind of Request
They weren’t asking for listing photos.
They weren’t selling.
*Instead, they asked us to create a birthday video for their 90-year-old father.
He lives in Boston, and there was a chance he wouldn’t be able to make the trip to St. Louis to see the home in person.
So they wanted to bring the home to him!
What the Project Really Became
This wasn’t about showcasing the property.
It was about capturing life inside of it.
The real moments.
The everyday things that actually make a house feel like home.
Family interactions.Conversations.Laughter.Just… being there.
Why This Meant So Much to Us
That’s when everything came full circle.
We didn’t just watch this place transform.
We didn’t just get inspired by it.
We became part of its story.
What started as something we noticed from a distance…
Turned into something deeply personal.
Connection.
This Is Really Why We Do This
At the end of the day, this was never just about real estate.
It’s about:
Capturing moments
Bringing life into the once unseen
Opening eyes and imaginations to see that there’s beauty in everything
Sharing experiences
Helping people feel connected—even from far away
Sometimes that looks like helping someone sell a home.
And sometimes…
It looks like helping a father experience his family’s life from another city.
Our Why
From a forgotten public pool…To a modern home…To a story shared across cities…
That’s the full journey.
And honestly—it’s the reason we do what we do.
We don’t just capture spaces. We capture what they mean.
